As some of you may know, I asked an open question over the Xmas break – what best Trance tracks came from the last 10 years?
There was a massive outpouring of such amazing tunes, that to fit them on a single CD would be foolish, so expect another edition later on in the year. But there was also an issue of trying to keep this away from a ‘Now, that’s what I call Trance’ style of music – but still keeping the tunes recognisable and something that the true trance aficionado will like and understand. I have also tried to emulate the styles of the DJ’s that I particularly enjoyed during this decade – the silky smooth Simon Patterson, the chopping and hard mix of John Askew and the ‘crowbar it in there at all costs’ style of (name deleted on legal advice).
